The Mark & Linda Jacobson Endowed Scholarship

In over forty years of service, Mark and Linda Jacobson have given their time, hearts, and love to the people of Tanzania.

The endowment, created to “empower Tanzanians to care for Tanzanians”, will provide medical school scholarships to help address the disparity of medical care and encourage more students to pursue MD degrees. The endowment will also provide funds to continue and enhance Linda’s work in support of women and children. The endowed scholarships will ensure that Mark and Linda’s legacy will continue and grow in its impact by training more and more medical doctors to enhance medical care in Tanzania and provide support for disenfranchised women and children – furthering the Jacobson’s legacy of love, passion, and dedication to the people of Tanzania.
